This is must-go place when you are in Hakata. They have multiple locations across the town. I went to Nakasu location after business dinner to fill the remaining space in my stomach with best stuff available in this city. I was lucky to find it.

I looked up this yatai (food stall) on CultureTrip.com since it was very highly rated. I am so thankful we did poke our heads in this semi-hidden restaurant—it has been the best food experience we have had in Japan so far! The staff couldn’t speak English well, but we showed them photos of food off Google maps and they were happy to assist. The waygu beef was absolutely delicious, albeit expensive, and worth the try. Ramen is cheap and delicious. If you show them the photos posted here and order two bowls of ramen, meal will be about 5700 yen. We knew we had come to a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant when it filled up with locals only minutes after opening!

Very basic, The Nagahama Tonkotsu(pork broth) Ramen, not too strong but rather light, easy to eat Tonkotsu ramen, therefore not to get bored and can repeat. After few beer, there is nothing better than having this type of Nagahama Ramen! Friday night around 23:00, waited for about 15min to enter. As this place is kind of Izakaya too, if you are not lucky you may wait longer. Would repeat it I see no queue when around here next too.

Nothing about this place disappoints!! My coworkers and I came here during business trip, had amazing oden, izakaya food and ramen! The best Hakata / Nakasu experience. The staffs are chill and very friendly, even customers are friendly and open to chat. We made friends! Recommend
